Background
Dr. Andrew W. Joseph is double board-certified and a subspecialty fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Joseph has extensive experience and expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the face, nose, cheeks, eyes, and neck. Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and board-certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Education
Dr. Andrew W. Joseph received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Joseph was awarded the Dean's Merit Scholarship for all four years of his medical school training, an award earned by a a very select number of students. Dr. Andrew W. Joseph went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and was elected to the Delta Omega Public Health Honorary Society based on scholarly achievement. Furthermore, Dr. Joseph was selected to be a recipient of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Global Health Scholarship.
Residency and Fellowship Training
Dr. Andrew W. Joseph completed his Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Joseph earned the surgical subspecialty Intern of the Year Award from the Johns Hopkins Department of Surgery. During his final year of residency training, Dr. Andrew W. Joseph was recognized for his surgical abilities and selected as the recipient of the Frank L. Coulson Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence, a prestigious award from the Miller-Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Following residency, Dr. Joseph completed fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Joseph is an active author of scientific publications that seek to improve patient care and has been an invited lecturer for national and international conferences.
Institutional and National Leadership
While on faculty at the University of Michigan, Dr. Joseph founded and co-directed the Michigan Medicine Multidisciplinary Facial Nerve Clinic at the University of Michigan. Dr. Joseph continues to serve as a regular reviewer for some of the top facial plastic and reconstructive surgery journals.

Dr. Andrew W. Joseph is an expert in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in the head and neck. He specializes in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation (including deep-plane facelift), lip lifts, forehead and eyebrow lift, upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, autologous fat grafting, otoplasty, facial scar treatments, and skin cancer reconstruction. Dr. Joseph also specializes in a variety of non-surgical treatment including fine line treatment with skin resurfacing, Botox, and facial fillers.
